How will the money be used?
All the money stays here in Illinois. These gifts support salaries of church planters, missionaries, leadership trainers. The offering also supports campus ministries across the state, provides ministry supplies and equipping for church leaders, and helps mobilize missions volunteers.
About IBSA
Our Purpose
Founded in 1907, the Illinois Baptist State Association is an association of messengers from Illinois Southern Baptist churches cooperating to achieve common goals. The purpose of IBSA is to assist in establishing and developing effective churches in their context.
Today, nearly 1,000 churches and missions are affiliated with the IBSA.
IBSA Vision Statement
The Illinois Baptist State Association is a network of almost 1,000 churches, church plants, and missions spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all corners of our state and, ultimately, to the world. IBSA’s team of missionaries, leadership coaches, and staff helps churches thrive in ministry health, growth, and mission. We help equip leaders, start new churches, revitalize churches, and mobilize members for mission works in Illinois and everywhere the gospel is needed. As Great Commission Baptists, IBSA churches baptize new believers and make disciples of all nations and people groups, starting with the ones on our doorsteps. Every dollar given through the Mission Illinois Offering supports this work starting right here.
